Professional development
The Board of Trustees of the Harborough Youth and Community Trust are looking to recruit an Advisory Board.
Whilst we recognise and value the skills and expertise we have in our work with young people there are areas of running a small charity where we do not have the expertise.
We are looking for 'experts' who can advise us on being more efficient and effective in our non core activities such as:
We welcome whatever gifts, skills, resources, experience, time or knowledge you would like to pass on to us. Contact us for an informal conversation.
As we assess our needs over the next few years we have found providing additional counselling space and meeting the needs of our youth workers a challenge. We have access to HDC funding to expand but for this to be released we need to complete a proposal and gain planning permission.
Whilst we know HDC are supportive of our work we are also aware that the expertise and time required to put a proposal together will impact our staff and their current roles.
If this short term project excites you and you have the knowledge and skills to work with us on this, please get in touch.
Do you have time to help direct and shape our work with young people in Market Harborough.
