The support and donations from both local and national organisations enable us to continue working with young people in Market Harborough. Their generosity is very much appreciated.
The Langton Garden Centre donated various plants towards our wellbeing garden which was launched in September 2023. We are extremely grateful to them as this project would not have happened without their support.
The Market Harborough branch of Homebase supported us with our wellbeing garden project by donating various items including wood chip, an outdoor mirror and outdoor lights. We are extremely thankful as the wellbeing garden will support our young people in various ways including our counseling service.
The Plant Man was very kind in giving us a voucher to spend on plants for our wellbeing garden. The garden was launched in September 2023.
In 2023 The Market Harborough and the Bowdens Charity granted us £1,414 towards the electrical and carpentry work on our caravan. This is going to be a valuable space for our counselling service and are very thankful for the support that we have been given.
In 2023 The Harborough Twenty 12 Lion's Club gave us £555 towards a basketball hoop, post and installation. We are very thankful especially our young people who have been asking for a hoop for a while.
In 2023 Sport England kindly gave us £1,315.00 so that we could purchase a basketball court and some basketballs. Our young people are going to really enjoy playing on this and could possibly even have a mini tournament.
Churches Together in Harborough regularly make donations. If you or someone in your family have ever received an Its Your Move booklet from one our primary schools, it will have been paid for by Churches Together.
We now have a bigger more functional office space where our lovely people can work. We have also converted the old office into a cosy meeting room.
Lion's Club gave us £500 towards some outdoor furniture. It will be a perfect accompaniment to our new gazebo.
The National Lottery have given us a grant for a worker to start working with the local secondary schools. Jen will be running groups after school with fun, food and a chance to talk about important things.
Market Harborough Building Society and Harborough District Council have funded a huge outdoor gazebo for us. It means we can spend more time outdoors under cover and stay covid safe.
The National Lottery has granted us funding for the next 5 years. This funding is to improve our counselling service as well as to provide more staff to grow our youth work provision.
